About the Role Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Horticulture, this role sits within a collaborative finance team supporting the horticulture development function.
You will play a key role in providing financial insight across capital projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and contract performance monitoring. The role works closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and clearly communicated.
This is a broad role that combines project accounting, financial modelling and governance, with exposure to investor reporting and business case development.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver project and management reporting, including capital expenditure tracking
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling
- Provide financial insight to inform investment decisions and business cases
- Monitor project performance, costs, and contract outcomes
- Contribute to investor and board reporting requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements across finance and project delivery
About You You will bring a strong foundation in accounting, along with the ability to work commercially across projects and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in financial or management accounting, in a commercially focused environment
- Experience across project accounting, capital projects or fixed assets
- Strong financial modelling capability with well-developed analytical skills
- Confident working with stakeholders across finance and operations
- Clear communicator, well organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Exposure to horticulture, construction, or property development environments would be beneficial
You enjoy understanding how projects really work, not just reporting numbers, but adding context and insight. You’re comfortable asking questions, building relationships, and contributing to better decisions through clear, practical thinking.
