About the Role
This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes across Craigmore’s farming and forestry entities.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll manage core transactional and month-end activities, while contributing to management reporting, budgeting and cashflow monitoring.

You’ll work closely with the wider finance team to deliver accurate, timely and meaningful financial information.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a multi-entity environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Complete reconciliations and support month-end close
  • Assist with management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Support cashflow management and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure GST, FBT and IRD compliance requirements are met
  • Maintain fixed assets, job costing and provide payroll backup
About You
You’ll be a capable and organised accounting professional with sound technical knowledge and a practical, proactive approach. You enjoy variety, work well to deadlines and take pride in accuracy.

You will bring:
  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or similar (or working towards one)
  • Experience in management or financial accounting, ideally in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • The ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Clear communication and strong time management
  • Agricultural, forestry, or related industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
