About the Role
Working within the Farming and Forestry team and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role is responsible for delivering management accounting and performance reporting across a broad and interesting portfolio of entities.
  
You will deliver accurate reporting, support planning processes and contribute to performance monitoring across financial and operational metrics. Working closely with finance, leadership and operational teams you will help ensure stakeholders receive clear, reliable information to support commercial direction.
  
Depending on the experience of the person with the best team fit, the role can be positioned at either Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant level.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering accurate and timely month-end reporting across multiple entities
  • Preparing management reporting with clear analysis and commentary
  • Supporting consolidation and performance reporting across partnerships and funds
  • Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes and maintaining financial models
  • Monitoring performance against budgets and identifying key risks and variances
  • Supporting audit processes, valuations and ongoing improvements to systems and reporting
About You
You are a technically strong and commercially aware accountant who takes ownership of your work and is comfortable operating in a structured, evolving and fast-paced environment.
  
You will bring:
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
  • Proven experience in management accounting or similar finance roles
  • Experience working across multiple entities or complex structures
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with financial models
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to work with a range of stakeholders
  • A practical, organised approach and enthusiasm for a busy and varied workload 
Experience in agriculture, forestry or asset-based businesses is beneficial but not essential.
