www.craigmore.com About the Role Reporting to the Finance Manager – Corporate, this Financial Accountant position plays a key role within the Corporate Finance team, supporting multiple entities with timely and accurate management and statutory reporting.
You will be responsible for the preparation of management and financial reporting for both New Zealand and UK stakeholders, supporting business decision making through robust reporting, forecasting and variance analysis. This work will contribute to clear and accurate financial insights for both domestic and international audiences, ensuring consistency and quality across all reporting outputs.
The role spans budgeting, treasury management, tax compliance, and audit processes, with a focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes. This is a position for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and collaboration within a small, collegiate team.

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial reporting for corporate entities, including statutory accounts.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and support audit and tax compliance processes.
- Manage treasury, cashflow reporting, and contribute to continuous systems and process improvements.
- Supporting strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally
Qualifications and Experience Required - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Solid experience in financial and management reporting, audit processes and NZ tax
- Experience working with multiple entities and consolidations
- Confident working independently and collaboratively in a small team
- Exposure to agriculture, horticulture or investment management sectors would be advantageous
- Proactive, detail focused, pragmatic, and relationship oriented, with a calm and methodical approach to work.
