The Role
Reporting to the GM Finance & Commercial Support Services, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of Brackenridge. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee financial operations, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and funding compliance.
  • Ensure audit and tax compliance, working closely with external auditors and government funding bodies.
  • Support financial systems improvements, including reviewing current payroll and accounting platforms.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to senior leadership, contributing to the organisation’s sustainability and growth.
  • Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Accounting qualifications (CA or CPA preferred) and a strong financial management background.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with an ability to oversee compliance and funding requirements.
  • Experience in payroll oversight and process improvements.
  • The ability to collaborate with operational teams and provide meaningful financial insights to senior leadership.
