The Opportunity
As a Senior Procurement & Purchasing Specialist, you will take ownership of procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Balancing both strategic and operational responsibilities, you will work cross-functionally to ensure optimal procurement outcomes while navigating a complex and fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring KPIs and commercial outcomes are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise material procurement, stock levels, and working capital.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
• Leverage MRP drivers and actions to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years in a procurement role within a high-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and supply chain planning.
• Proven experience in strategic procurement, including tendering and supplier negotiations.
• Commercially astute with the ability to drive results and cost efficiencies.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
