Bishop Associates collaborate with you to offer quality and ethical recruitment solutions
Rob formed Bishop Associates Recruitment in 2007 as he believes the New Zealand market values and needs consulting partners who genuinely care about people, ethical practice and successful outcomes.
Bishop offer experienced, straight-talking, non-salesy, honest, commercially oriented and genuine service. There are some great consultants out there – but not many consulting companies that focus on relationships over money. There is a quote – “a good name is to be chosen over great riches”.
Bishop would rather maintain our reputation and integrity than be seen as chasing transactions.
Collaboration, quality and kindness lay at the foundation of what we do. Respect, ethical business decisions, humility, focus and flexibility. We are at our best when empowering and supporting people, teams and organisations to succeed. Through executive search, recruitment, HR services, governance support and business intelligence we are facilitators who maximise people & capability.
Rob and the team are in it for the long-haul – our desire is to build enduring and quality relationships with candidates and clients. We work closely with people to understand their needs and deliver quality advice and successful people related solutions. We’ve been doing this for many years now and look forward to continuing to grow and maintain successful working relationships with awesome people for years to come!

Vicky Bishop
Vicky developed her strong work ethic from a young age whizzing about on her bicycle doing odd jobs, paper rounds and balancing a busy school and sports diary.
She’s a smart cookie, with more degrees than you can shake a stick at and a career spanning multiple disciplines including psychology, caring for kids out of foster care, sales and customer services, working in insurance underwriting and, that not being quite enough for her, she re-trained as an accountant. There aren’t many things that she can’t turn her capable hands to and, as well as being highly skilled, she’s also pretty good fun to be around!
What sets Vicky apart is her attention to detail, kindness, ethical foundation and her drive for getting things done right. Luckily for us all Vicky uses her powers of intellect and psychology for good! She is an essential member of the team, keeping the i’s dotted and the t’s crossed!
