Reporting to the GM Finance, the Finance Manager – Farming & Forestry will oversee the financial management of Craigmore’s farming and forestry businesses. This senior leadership role involves driving excellence in financial reporting, management reporting, compliance, and investor reporting while supporting operational leaders to achieve their goals. The successful candidate will also lead a team of dedicated finance professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and shape financial processes for Craigmore’s farming and forestry divisions, enhance reporting frameworks and support strategic projects which position the organisation for further growth. An affinity for the primary sector, coupled with an appreciation for its unique challenges and opportunities will be essential for success.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide end-to-end financial oversight of farming and forestry operations, including compliance, management reporting and investor reporting.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, particularly within forestry, to elevate reporting and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with operational GMs, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Qualifications and Experience Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a multi-entity or complex financial environment.
- Technical expertise in financial reporting, compliance and risk management.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and openness to innovation.
- An interest, passion or affinity with the primary sector.
